In the tender the University had described a number of very specific requirements.
The University wanted to achieve a uniform basis for Investment accounting and Investment reporting across their multi investment managers.
It was a prerequisite that the service they selected could provide the University in having a full specification of their investment costs. It was required that the solution supported the University in having a full risk profile on their investments as well as for the entire legal entity.
The University also asked for a solution giving them a high level of transparency and overview.
We should also help them ad hoc with investment meeting, board meeting etc. so they could get a better understanding of the managers reporting regarding the results of the investments seen from the past and future.
Implementation of all data including history had to be done within a month from the signing date, so they could use it for the year end reporting.
With a very clear goal and after a very good process together with the University all data was ready after 3 weeks and first General ledger for the whole year was ready on the 2nd. business day next month. This is very fast and only achievable because of the great work from both parties.
Hereafter we worked together on the management reporting, had meetings with the managers etc.
This is one of our best implementations.
