Combining traditional investments with properties

An German mid-sized Single Family Office has selected PandaConnect’s solution. The client has a substantial part of the total wealth invested in Properties. Hence it was very important having a solution handling the administration of the traditional bankable investments as well as the properties.  It was of importance for the client that it was possible having some new features developed, for obtaining the expected efficiency in the daily operation.

Setting up a Multi Family Office is a complex project. A lot of tasks and considerations must be done – a lot of decisions has to be made. A brand-new Nordic Multi Family Office has chosen PandaConnect as their future back-bone and infrastructure. The Client wanted to have the infrastructure in place before starting up the new business. With PandaConnect’s plug and play solution it was possible for the client to match expenses with income.

With the PandaConnect solution in place, the Client were able to focus on the business. It was possible to show potential clients, that a substantial part of the “small business risk” was eliminated as all processes for handling the administration and reporting were already in place. As an add-on the client could use the bespoke reporting for the future clients already in the sales process.

We are of course still following the development closely. We see more and more countries and cities closing. Therefore, we have already now decided to move all employees to workstations at home from tomorrow (Tuesday) for securing the stability in our services. This might mean that you possibly can experience longer response time from our side, which you hopefully will have an understanding for.
We are naturally still dependent on having information from your banks, custodians and other sources. If we experience that they are not able to deliver as agreed, we will inform you directly.

As COVID-19 continues to expand globally, we want to communicate our commitment to business continuity.

We are of course following the development closely. PandaConnect’s state of alertness is adjusted to the current situation. We started adjusting weeks ago and have continuously adjusted according to the situation. That is why we are ready to function optimally given these unusual circumstances.

What have we done and what are we going to do:

• Clear instructions and guidelines for employees for avoiding all to bee ill at the same time. Half of our employees will work from home and the other half from our offices.
• During the latest months, we have replaced most stationary workstations with portable workstations, as a general enhancement of our contingency plan.
• Working from home has been tested for all critical work functions. Following – this has been tested “by reality” as 2 employees has already been working from home 2 weeks in a row – due to vacations in “red zones” and hence not have been allowed to come to our offices.
• Business travel activity has been canceled.
• Physical meetings have been or will be canceled and replaced with e-meetings (Skype, Teams or other).

We believe these measures will help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and keep our people safe and your business running. You can expect the same high level of productivity and service from our team, during this time.

The Foundation went through a large due diligence process and had several meetings with potential providers, before coming to the conclusion that PandaConnect both could offer the best service for consolidated reporting and provide the solution for a very competitive fee.
